Role of Quality and Records Manager

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Serving as the local leadership representative for quality and supporting the implementation of the QMS, working closely with area leadership to advance the culture of quality.
  2. Providing guidance to Project Managers on project plans (e.g., PMP, QMP, RMP) and best practices.
  3. Coordinating with local project quality managers on project support needs and sharing key project experiences.
  4. Reporting on QMS implementation, lessons learned, and audit resolutions to the Quality Office.
  5. Communicating updates and directives related to QMS and ILG to area leadership and staff.
  6. Developing and updating local processes to support QMS and ILG requirements, working cross-functionally to align delivery processes.
  7. Developing a comprehensive onboarding program to educate new employees about HDR's QMS.
  8. Responding to staff questions regarding policies and procedures related to QMS.
  9. Identifying opportunities for training and support to address quality-related issues.

  • Strong commitment to fostering a quality culture among leadership and staff.
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage relationships effectively.
  • Conflict resolution skills to mitigate risks while maintaining flexibility.
  • High collaboration and self-awareness, with focus on quality and risk management messaging.
  • Alignment with HDR's brand promise and values.
  • Professional and ethical direction for the company and staff.
Required Qualifications
  • Professional degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of industry experience, including 3 years in related quality fields.
  • Applicable quality certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Understanding of QMS fundamentals.
  • Skills in staff communication and engagement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including investigative interviewing.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Adobe PDF, and PowerPoint.
