Job Description

IQBG is seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Technical Writer specializing in Records Management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in crafting federal policies aligned with our client's strategic vision for records management. As a rapidly expanding small business, we deliver cutting-edge Enterprise Information Systems (EIM) solutions to a diverse clientele across Federal, state, local, and commercial sectors. We seek an individual who is organized, a leader, strategic thinker, and analytical, with excellent time management and problem-solving skills in a high-energy environment. This position offers the flexibility of full-time remote work.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Analyze records policies and SOPs from other agencies, identifying opportunities for alignment and implementation within the federal framework.
  2. Act as the main liaison for government agency policymakers and stakeholders, participating in policy discussions and strategic planning, providing expert advice on policy creation and implementation strategies.
  3. Compose policies independently for validation and approval processes, demonstrating outstanding writing skills.
  4. Create detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support agency-wide records management policies and deliver briefings to agency records officers.
  5. Perform in-depth analysis of records policies and SOPs from other agencies to identify opportunities for alignment within the federal framework.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) records management best practices, regulations, and standards.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in developing records management policies for federal agencies.
  • Proficiency in team collaboration and independent work.
  • Ability to engage effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Submission of writing samples and briefing packages is required for interview evaluation.
