The Waters of Rushville is seeking aQualified Medication Aide (QMA) to safely administer medications under supervision of a licensed nurse. The role requires current QMA licensure and a high school diploma or equivalent.

You will document medications, monitor residents and report findings to the nurse on duty. The position emphasizes accuracy, safety and adherence to state regulations and facility policies.

Formación

• Must be able to administer medications with safety techniques and sound judgment.
• Must observe residents for drug reactions and report concerns to the nurse.
• Must document medications and treatments accurately on MAR charts.

Responsabilidades

• Administer oral, PRN, inhaler, nebulizer, topical and other medications.
• Observe residents for adverse reactions and monitor vital signs.
• Document dosages and maintain medication cart and MAR records.
