Job summary

The Waters in Huntingburg, IN is hiring a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to provide safe medication administration and patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities include administering meds, monitoringVital signs, documenting on MAR, and assisting with transfers. Requires a high school diploma and a current QMA license, with opportunities for growth and team support.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold current, unencumbered state QMA license.
• Able to administer medications under nurse supervision.
• Commitment to compliance with federal/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral medications and PRN meds as authorized by nurse.
• Assist with inhalers and nebulizer treatments per nurse assessment.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report concerns to nurse.
• Document medications and dosages on MAR; manage medication cart.
• Safely lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
• Attend mandatory meetings and in-services.
• Participate in med pass audits and other duties as assigned by DON.
