Job summary

Merakey in Redding, CA is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to join our Intermediate Care Facilities. You will oversee Individual Service Plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 1–2 years of experience with intellectual disabilities, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, sociology, or related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• 2 years’ leadership or management experience
• Must oversee caseloads and manage localized case file compliance at the Redding site.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Merakey team to create and implement all Individual Service Plans
• Conduct ISP-related training for consumers and Direct Support Professionals
• Work within multidisciplinary settings with physicians, nurses, direct support staff, etc.
• Provide ongoing communication with the Regional Center’s liaison or case worker regarding the consumer’s status
