Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to join the Intermediate Care Facilities in Redding, CA. The role focuses on developing progress notes, assessments, and evaluations to meet regulatory requirements, while mentoring the support team.

The QIDP will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, oversee caseloads at the Redding site, and drive quality service delivery for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, sociology, or related field.
• 1-2 years' experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• 2 years' experience in a leadership or management capacity.
• Must be able to oversee caseloads and manage localized case file compliance at the Redding site.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Merakey team to create and implement all Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
• Conduct training related to ISPs for the consumer and Direct Support Professionals.
• Work within multidisciplinary settings with physicians, nurses, direct support staff, etc.

Position Details

Earn up to $30.47 per hour.

Shift:12p-8p 40 hrs/wk, weekend flexibility a plus

The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) will work within the ICFs to develop progress notes, assessments, and evaluations required by regulations, and to train and mentor the support team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Merakey team to create and implement all Individual Service Plans
• Conduct training related to the ISPs for the consumer and Direct Support Professionals
• Work within multidisciplinary settings with physicians, nurses, direct support staff, etc.
• Provide ongoing communication with the Regional Center's liaison or case worker regarding the consumer's status
