Job summary

Echoing Hills Village Inc. seeks a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) to plan, coordinate, and monitor active treatment in a person-centered approach that helps individuals move toward independent living within a faith-based ministry.

The role sits on the supervisory management team, guiding program delivery and coordinating with nursing and dietary teams while fostering Christian activities such as Bible study, church attendance, and community events for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or RN license (Federal Medicaid Regulations).
• Minimum of one year of experience in the Developmental Disability field.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
• Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations for operating an ICF facility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and manage resident behavior professionally.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for travel.
• A demonstrated Christian background and ability to fulfill the Ministry's mission.

Responsibilities

• Develop policies and procedures aligned with our mission and core values.
• Foster a positive environment for individuals to form relationships and achieve goals.
• Lead active treatment programming and integration.
• Maintain communication with clients' families/guardians.
• Oversee residents' finances and medical needs as they relate to programming.
• Collaborate with nursing and dietary teams for comprehensive care.
• Act as a liaison with external agencies and day habilitation programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Assist in additional duties as assigned by leadership.
