Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to partner with program leadership to ensure active treatment plans for youth with IDD. The role involves coordinating assessments, IPP development, and collaboration with direct care staff at assigned service sites.

Qualifications

• To be a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) with specialized training or relevant experience in treating youth with IDD.
• Specific developmental and behavioral management needs identified in IPP must be documented.
• IPP objectives must be measurable with schedules and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial treatment plan within 7 days of admission and an IPP within 30 days.
• Develop a developmentally based comprehensive functional assessment within 30 days of admission.
• Address physical, nutritional, cognitive, social and vocational development in assessments.
• Ensure IPP includes opportunities for child’s choice and self-management and targets measurable objectives.
• Staff must implement IPP with all involved personnel and review periodically.
