Job summary

Legence is seeking a Quality Control Examiner in San Jose, onsite, to lead the ongoing development and integrity of the quality management system across piping, pressure vessel, sheet metal and structural fabrications. You will implement QC programs and code compliance while fostering a culture of quality and precise record keeping.

Candidates should hold AWS CWI certification, bring at least 5 years of construction experience, and have 2+ years in welding quality roles.

Qualifications

• CWI certification required and essential for the role.
• Strong communication skills, oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve QC procedures and programs.
• Maintain a culture of highest quality and zero customer complaints.
• Perform welder training and witness certification testing.
• Investigate non-conformances and assist with CAPs.
• Inspect production welding and assemblies for Code compliance.
