Job summary

Team Industrial Services is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code-compliance inspections on welded components in field and shop environments. You will review WPS/PQR/WQTR, coordinate with NDT, and generate detailed inspection reports to support safety-critical operations.

Candidates must hold AWS CWI and have knowledge of AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes; willingness to travel and work extended hours is required.

Qualifications

• Active AWS CWI certification required.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection practices in field and shop environments.
• Experience reviewing WPS, PQR, and WQTR.
• Ability to generate detailed inspection reports and weld maps.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual welding inspections per AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes or project criteria.
• Review WPS, PQR, and WQTR; monitor welding activities for compliance.
• Coordinate with NDT personnel to support UT, RT, MT, PT testing.
• Generate inspection reports, weld maps, and deficiency logs.
• Witness welder qualification tests and maintain logs; interface with clients.
