Job summary

Therma, a Legence Company, San Jose, CA, is hiring a Quality Control Examiner to oversee QC programs, policies, and compliance across piping, vessels, sheets, and structures. You will administer quality systems, ensure record keeping, and respond to non-conformances with corrective actions.

The role requires certification (CWI), 5+ years in construction, 2+ years in welding quality, and a CA driver’s license. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• Minimum 2 years in welding quality or welding responsibilities.
• Current CA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the continuous improvement of QC procedures and programs.
• Maintain a workplace culture of highest quality and zero customer complaints.
• Perform welder training and witness certification testing for shop and field welding personnel.
• Investigate non-conformances and assist Corrective Action Plan implementation.
• Inspect production welding and assemblies to ensure Code compliance.
