Job summary

Therma, a Legence Company, seeks a Quality Control Examiner to oversee the quality management system across piping, pressure vessels, sheet metal and structural weldments. This role ensures code compliance and robust documentation, driving a culture of top-quality workmanship.

The incumbent will administer QC programs, respond to non-conformances, and work with management to maintain rigorous record keeping.

Qualifications

• CWI certification from AWS.
• Minimum 5 years construction experience.
• Minimum 2 years in welding quality roles.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve QC procedures and cultures.
• Maintain a workplace focused on top quality and zero defects.
• Train welders and witness certification testing.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances; implement corrective actions.
• Inspect production welding and assemblies for code compliance.
