Job description:
The role of the software test manager is to lead the testing team. The Test Manager plays a central role in the team and takes full responsibility for the project's success. The role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.
QA3 Engineer will be responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of test scripts for both automated and manual testing of EHR applications. Responsibilities include preparing UAT test cases aligned with business requirements, conducting walkthroughs with stakeholders to ensure clarity, tracking test case execution, and providing reports.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases and creating test plans.
- Knowledge of SaaS product testing, software usability concepts, and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience managing testing processes with creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test data for manual and automated testing.
- Experience in writing/testing scripts within electronic medical records, practice management, clinical, interface, and billing workflows in EHR applications.
- Ability to generate manual and automated test scripts supporting business requirements.
- Strong QA automation testing experience using UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
- Proficiency with ALM Test Management tool and JIRA.
- Strong knowledge of complex SQL query writing and database validation.
- Proficient in defect tracking and management using ALM and JIRA.
- Knowledge and experience working with HL7 FHIR is preferred.
- Experience in generating metrics to measure application quality and defect tracking.
- Experience working on various testing types: unit, integration, regression, smoke, UAT, system, stress, and load/performance.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Ability to respond to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs.
- Effective in organizing and presenting complex technical information both orally and in writing.
- Experience overseeing testing data tracking and defect management.
- Experience coordinating testing activities and data collection with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to understand requirements, identify issues, define testing scope, and ensure smooth EHR implementation.
- Mentoring and training QA team members on EHR testing methodologies, best practices, data migration testing, and workflows.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams, including clinicians, IT staff, and project managers.
- Experience developing detailed test cases covering various scenarios and user roles within the EHR system.
- Experience working in state agencies is preferred.
- Experience using automated testing tools such as Katalon, Selenium, ALM, UTF, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must meet or exceed the following minimum experience and skills:
- 9 years of experience in writing and executing test cases and creating test plans.
- 9 years of knowledge in SaaS product testing, software usability, and software development lifecycle.
- 9 years managing testing processes with creation and execution of test plans, cases, and data for manual and automated testing.
- 9 years ability to generate manual and automated test scripts supporting business requirements.
- 9 years experience in scripting within electronic medical records, practice management, clinical, interface, and billing workflows in EHR applications.
- 9 years of strong QA automation testing experience using UFT.
- 9 years of strong SQL query writing and database validation skills.
- 9 years experience in developing detailed test cases for various scenarios and user roles within EHR systems.
- 9 years experience with different testing types: unit, integration, regression, smoke, UAT, system, stress, and load testing.
- 9 years ability to respond to inquiries, organize, and present complex technical information effectively.
- 9 years collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure smooth EHR implementation.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience in conducting API testing and automation.
