ARCO Design/Build is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support startup, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems across diverse projects. You will verify installations, assist with readiness reviews, and work closely with BAS/controls teams to ensure performance aligns with design intent.

The role requires 2–5 years of mechanical systems experience, knowledge of HVAC and related equipment, and the ability to read drawings and sequences.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical systems operations, startup, commissioning support, service, troubleshooting or building operations.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building systems (chilled water, pumps, AHUs, CRAHs).
• Ability to read/interpret mechanical drawings and sequences of operation; strong teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Support startup, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Assist with pre-startup readiness reviews verifying equipment installation and controls integration.
• Coordinate with BAS/controls teams to verify point functionality and sequences.
• Document deficiencies, testing observations, and corrective actions clearly and accurately.
• Support commissioning meetings, startup planning, and system turnover activities.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with project safety requirements.
