ARCO/Murray is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support testing, startup, setup, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems on design/build projects. The role emphasizes field execution, commissioning support, and system performance verification with exposure to complex mechanical environments.

The candidate will collaborate with project teams, vendors, and subspecialists to ensure safe, reliable operation and adherence to design intent, with growth opportunities in a dynamic construction setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in mechanical systems operations or commissioning.
• Familiar with HVAC, chillers, pumps, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Verify equipment operates per design and specs.
• Document observations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with BAS/controls for sequencing and alarms.
• Promote safety and assist on-site commissioning meetings.
• Maintain project documentation during turnover.
