Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Quality Control Specialist (Mechanical) to verify installation, testing and performance of HVAC, plumbing and controls. The role ensures systems are safe, operate as designed and meet contract documents.

Responsibilities include reviewing docs, inspecting equipment, witnessing commissioning, and coordinating with project teams and inspectors to resolve non-conforming work and close punch lists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• At least 5 years in mechanical construction, piping, HVAC installation, or QA/QC.
• Demonstrated initiative to deliver value and excellence.
• Ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ASME, ASHRAE and NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents and submittals for compliance.
• Inspect ductwork, piping, insulation, AHUs, boilers, pumps for conformance.
• Ensure installations comply with codes and standards (ASME, ASHRAE, NFPA).
• Witness startup, testing and commissioning of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with PMs, subcontractors and inspectors to close punch lists.
