Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking a QA/QC Coordinator to plan, govern, and monitor quality processes on commercial mechanical projects. This on-site role in the DFW Metroplex develops QA/QC plans, governs documentation, conducts audits, and coordinates inspection, testing, commissioning, and turnover readiness.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical construction with strong organization, communication, and proficiency in Procore, Power BI, and document-control systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial mechanical/construction QA/QC, or related field.
• 3+ years with QA/QC systems, audits, and compliance.
• Experience with field QA/QC documentation and turnover processes.
• Proven ability to lead QA meetings or training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and checklists.
• Review drawings, specs, and submittals to set acceptance criteria.
• Schedule and oversee inspections, testing, and turnover activities.
• Maintain deficiency logs and track closure evidence.
• Prepare dashboards and metrics for quality performance; drive root-cause analysis.
• Train project teams on QA/QC protocols and templates.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and inspectors.
