Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an Assistant Quality Manager to oversee quality on a Data Center project near Alexandria, LA. You will manage quality activities, inspections, and client communications to ensure conformance with contract documents.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in engineering/CM with 4+ years QA/QC experience, and may have CQM-C or envelope commissioning training. Proficiency with Procore and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
• 4+ years of quality control/assurance experience across diverse projects.
• QA/QC training and certification preferred (CQM-C preferred).
• Understanding of industry standards (NIBS Guideline 3-2013, ASTM E2813-12, ASHRAE Guideline 0-2013).
• Ability to travel to project sites and work in varying climates.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Monitor and manage quality activities to contract requirements on multiple projects.
• Interact with client/owner, agencies, subcontractors, and staff on quality matters.
• Review plans and specs for quality requirements and ensure conformance.
• Participate in root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
