Job summary

Princess Cruises is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to lead the software quality organization across web, mobile, and API test automation. You will define the quality vision, advance left testing, and oversee environments and engineers to enable fast, defect-free deployments.

You will drive AI-powered QA transformation, expand regression coverage, and integrate test suites into GitLab CI/CD, while coordinating onshore and offshore teams and governing release quality with product,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in Software Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
• 5+ years of direct experience managing quality engineering teams supporting web and mobile applications.
• Experience testing ecommerce systems, including checkout, payments, and product catalogs.
• Proven track record building end-to-end test automation solutions for React Native mobile apps and modern web platforms.
• Hands-on experience embedding automated test execution within GitLab CI/CD release pipelines.

Responsibilities

• QA Strategy & Automation Leadership: Drive AI-powered QA transformation by accelerating test automation and expanding regression coverage.
• Lead the adoption of agentic QA pods and AI-driven testing to improve quality and efficiency.
• Formulate and implement test automation strategies for Web UI, React Native mobile apps, and GraphQL/.NET APIs.
• CI/CD & Tooling Integration: Expand automated test frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Detox, Appium, Maestro) into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee internal and offshore QA resources; drive skill development and test data management.
• Establish quality metrics and enforce release quality gates with Product, Engineering, and DevOps.
