Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in general Software Quality Assurance.
• 6 years of experience in SDET or automation-focused roles.
• QA lead or key contributor on complex cross-functional projects.
• Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and modern testing practices.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools; designing, developing, maintaining automated tests.
• Experience with API testing (RESTful and SOAP) and validating system integrations.
• Solid programming foundations (OO) and design principles.
• Experience with Jira and test management/defect tracking.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Copado).
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams across locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to QA engineers and SDETs.
• Act as the primary QA point of contact for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define clear, testable requirements.
• Define and execute test strategies aligned with scope and timelines.
• Plan and estimate testing activities for adequate coverage.
• Oversee manual and automated testing across functional areas.
• Review and validate test cases for alignment with requirements.
• Drive adoption of test automation and maintain automation assets.
• Leverage AI‑driven tools to optimize test design and efficiency.
• Ensure environment availability and high-quality test data.
• Support release planning and QA sign-off based on quality criteria.
• Track and manage defects through lifecycle and perform root cause analysis.
