Job summary

Western & Southern Financial Group is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance professional to design and execute test plans for enterprise systems. You will create traceability matrices, test cases, data, and automate suitable tests, collaborating with development and business teams to ensure quality across releases.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS/IT or equivalent experience, strong analytical ability, and familiarity with functional/integration testing, data testing, and QA metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or commensurate experience.
• Experience in software quality assurance or testing in moderate to large multi‑platform environments.
• Experience identifying, defining, and quantifying problems, collecting and interpreting data, establishing facts, and providing solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in QA metrics management.
• Ability to translate technical specifications into non‑technical business language.
• Develop moderate to complex computer system test plans and test cases.
• Understanding of functional, integration, data, and security testing.
• ISTQB/CSQA/CSTE/CSTP or similar preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess functional requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback.
• Create traceability matrices, test plans, test cases, test data, and expected results for projects.
• Review and obtain approval for test plans and data with business units.
• Stay updated on QA trends and major initiatives.
• Execute test plans and report defects; monitor quality metrics.
• Identify test cases suitable for test automation; build automation scripts.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to communicate impacts.
• Build client relationships and drive SQA services as a change agent.
• Performs other duties as assigned; comply with policies and standards.
