Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support a newly established QA team. You will develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual testing strategies across enterprise products and services, building automated test cases and improving QA frameworks.

You will work with technology partners to automate testing where possible, document test architectures, and communicate progress and results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Financial services testing experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Analyst or Tester
• Good understanding of testing methodologies and testing processes.
• Understands software development life cycle process and various testing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to drive structure and closure.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive backlog of automated quality test cases that fit both standard practice and code coverage.
• Review and improve automation frameworks and tech stacks on a regular cadence to ensure the most efficient automated technologies are in use.
• Document automation architecture and process flows for the organization.
• Participate or lead meetings as projects identify new QA testing efforts.
• Develop and maintain traceability testing matrix; lead effort to establish or optimize test environments; develop, enhance and execute manual test cases; work with technology partners to automate testing where possible; communicate testing progress, results, and other information to stakeholders.
• Participate in special projects and tasks as assigned, related to the broader bank products and services.
