Job summary

Liquidity Services is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to lead test planning, development, execution, and release testing within the QA group. The role emphasizes building automated tests and dashboards to monitor quality across enterprise systems.

You will work on multiple projects, performing strategy development, test case creation, defect tracking, and post-production validation. Strong SQL and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong manual back-end testing experience including database, data feeds, scheduled jobs/batch processing.
• Experience with development life cycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, KanBan).
• Familiarity with writing test cases in Katalon, Junit, OR Selenium.
• Experience with API testing using Postman and Postman automation.
• Ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills in a virtual environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with complex requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement automated testing using C# / JAVA and/or related technologies.
• Develop and verify automation test cases to support automation of unit, functional, performance, security, and integration testing.
• Maintain test automation scripts and work independently within the delivery team.
• Build dashboards for test results, metrics, and testing information for stakeholders.
• Ensure quality processes across all SDLC phases.
• Work on multiple projects with varying instructions.
• Develop understanding of system design and data model of large software systems.
• Collaborate with other testers to share insights and guidance.
• Perform test strategy development, test case creation, and defect reporting for enterprise applications.
• Write basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Participate in post-production verification.
