Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our high‑security, multi‑team program. You will own backend services, data pipelines, and core components across the SDLC, from design to production support, in an on‑site Colorado setting.

You’ll ship reliable APIs, optimize data flows, and automate tests within CI/CD pipelines, using Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Git. A TS clearance and 5+ years of backend experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Python proficiency and Bash scripting.
• Relational DB experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Docker & Kubernetes experience with Helm in CI/CD pipelines.
• Git-based collaboration and secure CI/CD integrations.
• Proven ability to deliver user stories independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build interfaces and data contracts connecting distributed services and data streams.
• Write automated unit, integration, and regression tests; troubleshoot defects.
• Profile queries and data workflows to optimize latency and throughput.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy in Kubernetes via Helm.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews.
