Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV seeks an assembler for the PW800 engine line. You will balance sub-assemblies, main assembly and packing, ensuring quality and safety standards are met on the 5th shift (Fri–Sun, 5pm–5am). Training may occur on other shifts.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and an active Powerplant license at hire; preferred candidates have aviation maintenance or gas-turbine engine experience and the ability to read complex drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active FAA Powerplant license required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assemble engines and sub-assemblies following manuals and instructions.
• Use hand tools, precision measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures.
• Coordinate parts and consumables for on-time assembly.
• Ensure EH&S, quality standards and daily targets are met.
• Support Continuous Improvement and safety initiatives across operations.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervision.
