Job summary

RTX Corporation's Pratt & Whitney disassembly team in Bridgeport, WV is seeking a skilled technician to disassemble engine components and sub-assemblies on the PW800 line, following detailed manuals and using hand tools and precision measuring devices.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of mechanical experience; the position runs on a 4th shift (Fri–Sun, 5am–5pm) with training possibly on another shift.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of mechanical work experience.
• Willingness to work on 4th shift and follow FAA safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble engine components, sub-assemblies, and engines in the repair and overhaul area.
• Use hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and gauges.
• Coordinate parts, consumables and non-product material movements.
• Work from Manuals, Service Bulletins and other technical instructions.
• Function as an Assembler in Department 1800 to meet standard work and targets.
• Support ACE, Quality, EH&S, and Operations initiatives to meet company goals.
