Job summary

RTX, the world’s leading aerospace and defense company, invites you to join our Bridgeport, WV facility as an Assembly Technician on PW300 & PW500 engines. You’ll work 2nd shift, 3:30pm–1:30am, assembling, balancing, packing, and following manuals and service bulletins to ensure quality and EH&S standards are met.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and an active Powerplant license. Prior aviation maintenance experience on gas turbine engines is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Powerplant license required.

Responsibilities

• Work from manuals, service bulletins and other technical instructions.
• Use various hand tools, precision measuring equipment, special tooling and gauges.
• Coordinate parts, consumables and non-product material movements.
• Function as an Assembly tech to ensure standard work and standard methodologies are accomplished while assuring daily targets are met.
• Be fully engaged to support all Continuous Improvement, Quality, EH&S, and overall Operations initiatives and policies to meet company goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and refer team challenges to Supervisor.
