Job summary

MRC Global US Inc is seeking a Sales & Service Representative to deliver B2B customer service through the PVF order process. You will create quotes, process orders, and resolve issues while driving safety, gross margin growth, and operational performance.

The role emphasizes proactive customer engagement, value-driven sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize customer delight and sales opportunities. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a customer-facing role, inside sales, and/or warehouse services or recent completion of post-secondary education with relevant studies.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Proven ability to source products, build quotes, process orders, and resolve customer issues using company tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to quotes by sourcing products from inventory or external suppliers.
• Build quotes that balance customer value with profitability.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Proactively engage customers with product knowledge and add-on solutions.
• Use company systems to create quotes, locate products, process orders, and generate POs.
• Ensure pricing, freight, delivery schedules, and KPIs comply with contracts.
• Verify on-time shipping and communicate status to customers and suppliers.
• Coordinate with managers and other departments to optimize customer experience.
• Handle orders involving RMA, PO changes, or special invoicing needs.
