Qualifications

• 1+ years in a customer-facing role, inside sales, and/or warehouse services.
• Post-secondary education in Technical/Trade School, associate, or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to quotes by sourcing products from inventory or externally.
• Build quotes balancing customer value and MRC Global profitability.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities to grow sales.
• Proactively engage with customers using product knowledge for recommendations.
• Use MRC Global systems to create quotes, locate products, process orders, and issue POs.
• Adhere to pricing, freight, delivery schedules, and KPIs per contracts.
• Verify on-time shipping/delivery status of shipments.
• Communicate status and adjust sourcing as needed.
• Handle orders involving RMA or special invoicing with professionalism.
