Job summary

MRC Global Inc. is seeking a Sales & Service Representative in Richmond, Virginia to manage B2B customer service through the PVF order process. You will create quotes, process orders, and resolve issues, contributing to safety, gross margin growth, and operational performance.

The role emphasizes proactive customer engagement, product knowledge, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• One or more years in a dedicated customer-facing role, inside sales, or warehouse services.
• Post-secondary education in Technical/Trade School, Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred in industrial or sales.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests for quotes by sourcing products from inventory or external suppliers.
• Build quotes that balance customer value with MRC Global profitability.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities to grow overall sales.
• Use MRC Global systems to create quotes, locate products, process orders, and generate POs.
• Ensure pricing, freight, delivery schedules, and KPIs are followed.
• Verify on-time shipping status for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Communicate status with customers and adjust sourcing as needed.
• Provide options and solutions to customer needs with a proactive approach.
