Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of solar, storage, and substation services, seeks a Performance Engineer II - O&M to oversee daily operations on active projects. This role can be fully remote or hybrid with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR, with details discussed in the interview.

You will lead data-driven performance analyses, coordinate with field and vendor teams, ensure safety, and deliver reports and commissioning plans using PVsyst and other analytical tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, science, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of PV performance engineering or data analytics experience.
• Proficiency with PV modeling tools (PVSyst, PlantPredict, SAM) and data reporting.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities of active projects with a focus on safety and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect data, complete reports, tests, and analytical deliverables.
• On-board active projects into SOLV Energy’s Performance Team platforms.
