Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to plan, execute, and oversee testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects nationwide. You’ll work with SMEs to ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned per project requirements and safety standards, coordinating with cross‑functional teams for a smooth transition from commissioning to closeout.

The role is hybrid with onsite work at job sites and partial remote work; travel to projects is expected as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and commissioning on utility scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project commissioning team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on status of each project.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and milestone/deliverables lists.
