Hunt Electric Corporation is seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement team in managing POs, vendor records, and subcontract documentation. The role involves data entry in ERP systems, coordinating with Buyers and Accounts Payable, and assisting with process improvements.

Ideal candidates have organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years in purchasing, inventory, vendor relations, or related work.
• Knowledge of electrical industry, equipment, supplies and materials preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials and equipment for projects; enter PO information and generate POs to vendors via Remarcable.
• Oversee subcontracts processes: generate subcontracts and change orders, track COIs and lien waivers.
• Maintain vendor data in Spectrum and Remarcable; manage W9s, COIs, DBEs, tax certificates, and SOPs.
