Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in Buyer, Purchasing, Procurement or a closely related role.
• Experience with the full purchasing lifecycle and PO process.
• Experience communicating with vendors and managing supplier quotes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for purchasing data.
• Ability to manage high volume purchasing and prioritize changes.
• Experience with ERP systems; training will be provided.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities for materials and components supporting manufacturing operations.
• Process purchase orders accurately and maintain ERP data.
• Request, obtain, and manage supplier quotes for timely, cost-effective decisions.
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, order status, and delivery expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to support ongoing needs.
• Participate in supplier meetings and follow up on outstanding items.
• Monitor open orders and address delays or discrepancies.
• Data entry, coding, and documentation for purchasing with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure materials availability for production schedules.
• Prioritize urgent material needs as production requirements change.
• Utilize Excel to track and analyze purchasing data.
• Support backlog reduction and process improvements in procurement.
