Aston Carter is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support a growing team in Neenah, WI. This contract role focuses on engineering builds, R&D procurement, and prototype activities, with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.

The position reports to the Senior Buyer and Finance Manager, offering collaboration with Buyers and cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and strong Excel usage in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting purchasing, procurement, or supply chain functions.
• Exposure to ERP or purchasing systems.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide administrative support to the purchasing team supporting engineering, R&D, and prototype procurement activities.
• Create, maintain, and update purchasing records, documentation, and system data accurately.
• Assist Buyers with purchase order processing, order tracking, and supplier communication.
• Monitor purchasing requests and help ensure materials and services are procured in a timely manner.
• Utilize Excel and internal systems to track procurement activities and maintain reporting data.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding order status, delivery updates, and purchasing requirements.
• Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy within purchasing operations.
