Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a procurement professional to oversee the purchasing, receiving, storage, and distribution of all food and beverage products across its hotel portfolio. You will ensure compliance with procurement programs and manage inventory accuracy.

Qualifications include strong organizational and analytical skills, experience with inventory systems, and the ability to lead a team while coordinating with accounting on month-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing, receiving, storage, and distribution of all food and beverage products.
• Maintain compliance with procurement programs and vendor standards.
• Manage receipt, inspection, storage, and inventory tracking of all products.
• Conduct monthly inventories and reconcile discrepancies between physical and recorded inventory.
• Serve as the property expert for purchasing systems and related tools.
• Coordinate with Accounting to support month-end processes.
• Monitor product quality, vendor deliveries, shortages, and discrepancies; report to leadership.
• Maintain inventory rotation, labeling and storage procedures to minimize waste.
• Develop purchasing forecasts and assist with budgeting and cost allocation.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement contracts to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Lead safe transport and delivery of products throughout the hotel.
• Identify slow-moving inventory and propose cost-reduction solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct and supervise monthly inventories and reconcile discrepancies between physical and recorded inventory.
• Serve as the property expert for purchasing systems and platforms, including Clearsky and related tools.
• Coordinate closely with Accounting to support accurate and efficient month-end processes.
• Monitor product quality, vendor deliveries, shortages, and discrepancies, and communicate issues to leadership.
• Maintain accurate inventory rotation, labeling, and storage procedures to minimize waste and shrinkage.
• Develop purchasing forecasts and assist with budgeting and cost allocation across departments.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement contracts to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and service standards.
• Lead the safe transport and delivery of products throughout the hotel.
• Monitor slow-moving inventory and recommend solutions to improve inventory control and reduce costs.
