Michigan Solar Solutions, LLC is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support the Purchasing team, maintain efficient operations, and manage inventory. You will source electrical and solar equipment, prepare POs, and keep records current while advancing into purchasing, procurement, or operations as we grow.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in purchasing or inventory management, familiarity with electrical equipment, and proficiency in inventory software and MS Office.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of buying, procurement, or inventory experience.
• Familiar with electrical equipment and solar products.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to source electrical and solar equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Maintain records of vendor quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Conduct price comparisons and negotiate with suppliers for best terms.
• Forecast inventory needs based on historical data and project requirements.
• Update the inventory management system with stock levels and generate reports.
• Print barcodes for vehicles or the warehouse as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and vendors to resolve issues.
