Certified Power Solutions is seeking a Buyer to manage purchasing, returns processing, vendor acknowledgments, expediting, and inventory control. The role collaborates with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement and maintains comprehensive records.

The position emphasizes process improvement, data-driven reporting, and maintaining accurate documentation while supporting a culture of integrity and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or related roles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organization and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Office suite and ERP familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Returns Processing: manage returns for defective or excess inventory and coordinate with vendors for authorizations and refunds or replacements.
• Repairs Processing: manage the repairs process for Gast units and ensure documentation/workflows are followed.
• Vendor Acknowledgment Processing: monitor acknowledgments, confirm PO receipt, verify pricing/terms, resolve discrepancies.
• Vendor Expediting: expedite orders, monitor status, and communicate with vendors to avoid delays.
• Purchase Order Management: assist with generating and maintaining direct ship POs, verify pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Inventory Management: assist with stock replenishment, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: maintain records of purchasing transactions and ensure audit-ready filing.
• Reporting and Analysis: assist with reports on purchasing, vendor performance, inventory, and cost savings.
• Process Improvement: identify inefficiencies and implement procurement workflow improvements.
• Clerical/General Administrative: respond to routine emails, phone calls, print documents, file paperwork.
