Integrated Power Services in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator to maintain on-site inventory, pull items for orders, organize stock, and shelf items. This role focuses on accuracy, organization, and timely procurement to support shop operations.

You will work with vendors to obtain pricing and lead times, issue purchase orders, monitor open orders, and communicate status to internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Proper use of PPE.
• General understanding of safe work environments.
• Able to read, interpret, and modify documents.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.

Responsabilités

• Accurately pick, allocate, and apply serial numbers to inventoried items for orders.
• Make necessary changes when an order does not meet established standards.
• Check stock for potential orders.
• Notify the requesting party about stock status.
• Place new items in the correct bin location.
• Maintain inventory on shelves and in bins in an orderly manner.
• Maintain locations housing inventory to keep a neat warehouse.
• Purchase materials, parts, supplies, services, and other items for shop operations.
• Obtain pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery information from vendors.
• Issue purchase orders per company procedures and approvals.
• Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with vendors on status.
• Expedite critical materials to support production schedules.
• Communicate material status, delays, and delivery dates to internal personnel.
• Assist with sourcing alternate vendors or materials as needed.
• Support cost control through pricing, quotes, and vendor communication.
• Assist with internal and outsourced logistics coordination (freight, pickup, delivery).
• Support stockroom activities including replenishment of commonly used parts.
• Assist with urgent operational needs due to changing priorities.
