Job summary

SWK Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Sales and Purchasing Specialist to support purchasing, order management, billing, and accounting processes.

The role involves coordinating with vendors, processing orders after payment, tracking statuses, and ensuring accurate records across teams. You will work closely with Sales, Renewals, Customer Accounts, and Accounting to keep information flowing and problems resolved quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, billing, sales operations, AP/AR, or order management.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; Acumatica experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing & Order Management: Place and track customer orders after payment is received and confirmed; coordinate with vendors and maintain vendor relationships; process vendor payments; track outstanding orders; communicate status to internal teams; resolve discrepancies.
• Billing & Accounting Support: Maintain monthly billing activities in ERP, prepare customer invoices, calculate commissions and maintain documentation, enter accounts payable, assist month-end close, reconcile discrepancies.
• Cross-Functional Support: Work with Sales, Renewals, Customer Account Management, and Accounting; respond to internal questions; maintain records; identify delays and communicate them; support process improvements.
