Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Lanai is seeking a Purchasing Attendant to support procurement and inventory functions across resort departments. The role requires handling goods, organizing deliveries, and maintaining secure storage with safe operation of company vehicles.

Applicants should be legally authorized to work in the United States and may have prior purchasing or warehouse experience. The position offers an hourly rate and comprehensive benefits in a luxury island setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess legal work authorization in United States
• Hospitality background and willingness to work 7 days a week, 24 hours or variable shifts
• Prior purchasing, warehouse operations, logistics, or materials handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support inventory, warehouse, and logistics by receiving, storing, and distributing goods and equipment with accuracy and timeliness
• Operate company vehicles and warehouse equipment safely to transport supplies and freight between resort entities
• Coordinate loading, unloading, and delivery of packages and inventory across multiple locations
• Maintain organized, clean, and secure warehouse and storerooms; support inventory control and readiness
• Conduct routine safety inspections and equipment checks to ensure a safe workplace environment
• Assist with processing departmental requests and ensure quality and timely fulfillment

PURCHASING ATTENDANT

The Four Seasons Resorts Lāna’i is looking for a Purchasing Attendant who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. What You’ll Do

The Purchasing Attendant supports the procurement and inventory functions of the resort by receiving, organizing, and delivering goods and supplies to various departments. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely distribution of products, and safe operation of company vehicles when transporting supplies, while maintaining high standards of organization, efficiency, and service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support inventory, warehouse, and logistics operations by receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing goods, materials, and equipment while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely fulfillment of departmental requests
• Operate company vehicles and warehouse equipment safely to transport supplies and freight between resort entities, maintaining compliance with safety regulations and operational standards
• Coordinate the loading, unloading, and delivery of packages, materials, and inventory to support efficient daily operations across multiple locations
• Maintain organized, clean, and secure warehouse, storeroom, receiving, and refrigerated storage areas while supporting inventory control and operational readiness
• Conduct routine safety inspections and equipment checks to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and promote a safe working environment

What To Bring

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty‑four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Hawaii Driver’s License and Abstract is required for this role
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 100lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Preferred experience in purchasing, warehouse operations, logistics, or materials handling, including operating delivery vehicles, hand trucks, pallet jacks, flatbed carts, and other warehouse equipment.
