Job summary

Four Seasons Lanai seeks a Landscape Worker 1 to maintain hotel grounds and support irrigation and garden tasks.

You will operate basic landscape equipment, follow safety procedures, and contribute to guest experiences through meticulous grounds care on Lanai. This full-time role requires weekend availability and strong physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• Hospitality role requires availability on holidays/weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Ability to work in a wide range of environmental and physical conditions

Responsibilities

• Performs basic landscaping and horticulture tasks for hotel grounds, including weeding, watering, and general upkeep
• Operates landscape maintenance equipment to support grounds beautification
• Follows safety procedures to ensure well-being of self and team members
• Completes general landscape labor with limited supervision
• Uses hand tools like trowels and pruners
• Assists with irrigation maintenance and basic PVC connections
• Removes debris to maintain clean and presentable grounds
• Supports water garden maintenance and related tasks

LANDSCAPE WORKER 1

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Landscape Worker 1 who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

What You’ll Do

The Landscaper I maintains the appearance and condition of hotel grounds through routine landscaping and horticultural tasks and upkeep. This role operates basic landscape equipment and hand tools, assists with irrigation and water garden maintenance, follows all safety procedures, and performs physically demanding work with limited supervision to support a clean, safe, and visually appealing property. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performs basic landscaping and horticulture tasks for hotel grounds, including manual weeding, watering, plant propagation in the nursery, and general upkeep of landscaped areas.
• Operates non-riding lawn mowers, weed whackers, and other landscape maintenance equipment to support overall grounds beautification.
• Follows all safety procedures to ensure the well-being of self and team members, while using proper care and protection of company property.
• Completes general landscape labor with limited supervision.
• Uses a variety of hand tools, such as hand trowels, garden shears, and hand weeders.
• Assists with irrigation maintenance, including basic PVC pipe connections and repairs.
• Removes debris, rubbish, and other materials to maintain clean and presentable hotel grounds.
• Supports water garden maintenance and related tasks.
• Performs lifting and other physically demanding duties as required.

• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.

• Ability to work in a wide range of environmental and physical conditions
