Job summary

Midwest Shooting Center is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Pickerington, OH, to oversee Purchasing, drive inventory control, pricing discipline, and compliance while serving as Manager on Duty. This role safeguards assets and maintains accurate records in a growing indoor shooting range and retail environment.

You will lead a floor team, support sales execution, and ensure a safe, welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, purchasing, or operations.
• Strong attention to detail with process discipline.
• Knowledge of firearms compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to enforce standards and hold others accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead all inventory intake, receiving, and reconciliation.
• Set and maintain retail pricing standards to protect margins.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, shrink prevention, and accountability.
• Manage replenishment requests and coordinate purchasing activity.
• Conduct weekly audits for compliance, safety, and financial accuracy.
• Maintain ATF/OSHA compliance and internal safety standards.
• Ensure firearm transactions (FFL transfers, ATF Form 4473s) are done accurately.
• Train, coach, and hold associates to standards.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) to support operations and guest experience.
