The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Purchasing Agent in all aspects of procurement for County government, including:
High School Diploma or GED, Valid Driver’s License, Computer literacy, Proficiency in MS Office Suite including spreadsheets, understanding of public purchasing principles and practices, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and professional communication skills with staff and the public. A comparable amount of training and experience may substitute for minimum qualifications. Must pass background check and drug testing.
