Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is hiring a Punch Technician for The Enclave - Elizabethtown, KY. The role focuses on final apartment touch-ups, general housekeeping, and ensuring spaces are clean, functional, and welcoming.

You will work on-site, inspect units, perform maintenance tasks, and support the property team to maintain high standards across residences and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete established checklists.
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager of any needed services and repairs.
• Perform general housekeeping in common areas, including hallways, offices, restrooms, lobbies, and amenity spaces.
• Assist during trash-out of apartments and move heavy items to the dumpster.
• Assist with painting duties when scheduled and transfer paint as needed.
• Check faucets and sink plugs and repair/replace as necessary.
• Repair holes in walls with plaster and paint as needed.
• Change HVAC filters and replace blinds when required.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and assist the maintenance team as needed.
• Deliver notices to all apartments and report supply needs to management.

What You'll Do

• Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws, i.e., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc. Inspect vacated apartments and complete established checklists.
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager of any needed services and repairs.
• Perform general housekeeping in common areas, including hallways, offices, restrooms, lobbies, and amenity spaces.
• Assist during "trash-out" of apartments, i.e., moving heavy/bulky items to the dumpster.
• Assist with painting duties when requested. Transfer paint from storage areas to apartments when painting is scheduled.
• Check faucets and sink plugs, and repair/replace as necessary. Replace blinds when needed.
• Operate carpet-cleaning equipment to clean carpets.
• Change HVAC filters.
• Repair holes in walls with plaster and paint as necessary.
• Assist in changing or removing appliances from apartments.
• Make new keys when requested.
• Assist in keeping grounds and common areas clean at all times.
• Assist the maintenance team when needed.
• Deliver notices to all apartments.
• Report supply needs to the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned by the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.
