Overview
Apartment Make Ready/Punch Technician — $20/hr
This role involves preparing vacant apartment units for new residents, performing minor repairs, touch-ups, and general maintenance to meet high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
- Perform maintenance tasks, including painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance installation.
- Ensure all units are cleaned, functioning, and ready for occupancy by new residents.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team and property management to address issues promptly.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Assist with other property maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must have your own tools.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Knowledge of the English language.
