Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, maintenance or reliability.
• Experience leading a maintenance department and coaching staff.
• Experience with safe working practices (Lockout, PPE, confined space).
• Desirable pulp and paper mill equipment, processes, technologies experience.
• Experience developing and managing CAPEX budgets.
• Experience implementing optimized planning and scheduling processes.
• Experience creating KPIs to monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance safety culture and enforce safe work practices.
• Utilize LEAN experience to drive strategy and continuous improvement.
• Drive asset reliability programs to meet operations goals.
• Participate in annual action planning and budgeting.
• Prepare and execute investment and asset maintenance plans and shutdowns.
• Engage and develop employees for growth and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with Cascades business processes in the plant.
• Support maintenance KPIs and quality of work.
• Communicate and lead plans for targets in capacity, cost, quality and safety.
