Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC’s Muskogee Paper Mill in Oklahoma seeks a Lubrication and Reliability Leader to drive lubrication excellence across the site, elevate maintenance practices, and develop the hourly team. Qualifications

• Experience in industrial lubrication.
• Experience troubleshooting rotating equipment and lubricated systems.
• Experience using reliability metrics (RCA, FMEA, preventive maintenance) to support decisions.
• Supervisory experience with direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and EHS excellence in lubrication-related activities.
• Serve as the mill’s technical SME for lubrication strategies, contamination control, lubricant selection, oil analysis, filtration, and storage/handling practices.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of lubrication technicians by establishing clear expectations, prioritizing work, removing barriers, and promoting consistent execution of lubrication standards.
• Develop and continuously improve mill-wide lubrication programs, preventive maintenance strategies, inspection processes, work instructions, and lubrication routes.
• Manage the site's oil analysis program, including sampling strategy, interpretation of results, corrective action recommendations, and tracking measurable improvements.
• Partner with maintenance, operations, engineering, stores, and suppliers to optimize lubricant usage, improve contamination control, standardize practices, and extend asset life.
• Support reliability improvement efforts through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), failure elimination activities, and proactive identification of lubrication-related risks.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians, operators, and leaders on lubrication fundamentals, inspection practices, contamination control, and precision maintenance principles.
• Audit lubrication processes, equipment, storage areas, and field execution to ensure compliance with established standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Utilize SAP or other CMMS tools to support maintenance planning, preventive maintenance optimization, documentation, KPI tracking, and corrective work identification.
