Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead service and maintenance staff for safe, reliable mill operations and continuous improvement of production. The role focuses on strategic maintenance leadership, KPI analysis, and safe, efficient execution across plant assets.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, guiding uptime improvements, and collaborating with leadership to meet safety and cost goals while negotiating with labor on contract issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• 2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with JDE, PLC/DCS or CMMS (maintenance systems).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership on maintenance operations to maximize production.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term maintenance strategies.
• Create safety goals and plans to ensure a safe work environment.
• Lead maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Negotiate with labor unions on contract issues.
• Serve on Plant Leadership Team to align goals and standards.
