Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• 0–1 year of clinic or medical office experience required.
• Experience in patient services, billing, or front desk operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in the EMR with accurate demographic and insurance data.
• Check in/out patients and collect copays, deductibles, and balances.
• Verify eligibility and update insurance information at every visit.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments; document cancellations in the EMR.
• Assist with charge entry and daily reconciliation per provider coding.
• Respond to patient inquiries professionally and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain waiting area and report safety concerns.
